Live Video Monitoring
Overview
Stealth Monitoring provides live monitoring of video surveillance cameras from our Central Video Monitoring Station in Dallas, Texas. We are unique in that we not only use video analytics and motion detection to monitor low motion facilities, but we also monitor high traffic areas or high risk clients with trained operators and dedicated monitors streaming in live video. For most of our clients, we use a hybrid of both to offer a higher level of service to catch criminals on the property before an event occurs and dispatch police immediately to have them arrested. The police come faster when we call, because we notify them that the burglary is in progress and the intruders are still on the property. The police support our service because we eliminate the false alarms and only notify them when we need them to arrest someone. All video monitored is also stored at our facility for video backup.
We can monitor thousands of cameras. In Texas, we install surveillance equipment, access control, wireless technology and motorized gates. Outside of Texas, we use a network of dealers to do installations and service while we do the monitoring. Our video monitoring competition does event based monitoring only. We do not know anyone else streaming in both live video and using event based live monitoring. Our prices are often lower than the so called competitors even though our service requires more trained operators. Our trained operators meet high standards and we require all employees to be fingerprinted and licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety. We have strict procedures to ensure encryption and that video is maintained securely on private networks. We use redundant power supplies and multiple bandwidth vendors.
Why buy an expensive security system to record that intruders have covered their faces and have spent hours burglarizing your facility? Our service of live video monitoring can dispatch police to arrest criminals before or after they enter your facility. Without live monitoring you will not catch a high percent of the criminals.
Certain applications, like retail stores, banks, shopping centers, office buildings, construction sites, auto dealers, gated communities, schools, religious institutions, sporting and entertainment events have high traffic peak times and low traffic times. Why not use our service to dedicate operators to monitor the high traffic times when motion detection does not work, and then pay a lower price for those times where the facility is closed and video analytics and motion detection can be used to monitor. We offer a premium service at a surcharge, that dedicates 42 inch flat screens to stream in live video, full time, to have our trained operators monitor live cameras at defined times.
Our standard procedure is to use a hybrid of both monitoring processes. We use motion detection routinely, but on every shift, we have our supervisor view every camera on every customer live on our 42 inch screens. This way we can submit service calls to notify our service department, dealers or clients that a camera is down or dirty and needs servicing. We also use a heartbeat monitor to notify us when a system, the internet connection or a camera is down.
Our goal is to monitor ten thousand analog and IP cameras by the end of this year on different platforms using our hybrid approach to combine continuous streamed video, motion detection and video analytics. Video monitoring will never stop all your crime, but it will deter and reduce crime. Our prices are a fraction of security guards, lower than most event based monitoring competitors and is the most cost effective solution.
