Stealth Monitoring Inc. is a privately owned Texas corporation that was formed to provide a solution in the security industry that has been traditionally run by burglar alarm event based companies. After the introduction of CCTV, businesses starting spending money on closed circuit cameras only to find that this was not stopping crime and if the burglar was wearing a hood or hat, the cameras were not effective. So Stealth researched why none of the companies were offering the outsourced managed services of LIVE remote surveillance. The competitors today primarily offer event based monitoring which is after the fact monitoring based on an alarm or event being triggered. Stealth decided to secure and train a staff of loyal and experienced technical personnel to evaluate various IT platforms, build and enhance an advanced surveillance technology with access control capabilities including some proprietary technology and then market the integrated solution to businesses and government entities.
Today, Stealth has hundreds of customers that utilize the live video monitoring services. We have international clients now and are continuing to grow rapidly in every direction. Clients that visit our control center often tell us that we have raised the standard and that nobody else is doing what we are doing. The ability to live monitor thousands of cameras in real time at hundreds of different customers is a difficult task on its own. But to customize each client that has unique requirements at an affordable price is what makes us world class. We learn from the mistakes we have made. We have learned to implement new processes and systems to react faster to intruders and exceptions. We have built quality relationships with police departments and police chiefs so they are aware of the higher priority when we call. Managing client expectations and using best of breed software to take video analytics, networks, firewalls, VPNs, IP platforms and intermingle all of these into a comprehensive solution will take our competitors years to duplicate. Since we have to monitor every camera, we are focused on providing world class service when possible and realize that our clients depend on us. Our solutions and processes grow with our clients as we realize that the criminals are getting more sophisticated and we need to implement technology and procedures to stay ahead of them. The interaction of human intelligence and advanced technology allows us to monitor some crimes before they happen because we are looking for unusual events. The police respond faster when we call because they know our dispatches are not false alarms.
Norm Charney, the owner, has a successful track record of building several businesses with the same fundamentals of integrity, world class service and fair pricing focused to allow our company to be profitable and to build the business organically. We do miss some events and are brutally honest with our clients. But we do believe that there is no other solution as cost effective. Our commitment is to continually improve our service and to position our company as a leader in the industry.
